An additional pre-filter protects the rotor of the dirty water submersible pump when the dirt particles are larger. Moreover, the submersible pump includes a built-in float switch, which switches the pump on and off depending on the water level, protecting it from dry-running. The float switch can be installed so that the pump can be operated manually even at low water levels, up to a residual water level of 25 mm.
